As an American it's insane for me to think about how much the difference between road laws can change in Europe from country to country, and Europe is equivalently around the same size as the 48 continuous states and its a base law. The fact that the Lux police officer was like yeah i bought a bike from the Netherlands and had to change stuff is mind boggling. You go in vacation from California to Florida for Bike week and you dont have to worry about tire deprh or blinker ramge 4-6 inches some states allow integrated others dont. Sone allowane splitting most dont. Its not like your going to get hit sith a huge fine, more si a fix it tocket in that statee, if your not a resident a warning and a notice for that states LEO that you have been talked yo about it.
